The Prospect Heights Convention & Visitors Bureau was established December 15, 1986 to assist the hotel and hospitality industry with marketing and sales efforts and to increase awareness of the Prospect Heights' area as a tourism destination. Representing the municipalities of Prospect Heights and Wheeling, the bureau also has a membership base that consists of numerous attractions, restaurants, shopping areas, theatres, recreation, and transportation companies throughout Chicago and the North Suburbs.
The mission of the Prospect Heights CVB is to market Chicago's North Suburbs as a meeting and leisure destination; soliciting convention and group business; engage in visitor promotions that generate overnights stays in the hotels; retail, food and beverage sales; expenditures at attractions, festivals, events and other visitor related businesses; thereby enhancing the economic stability of the area.
